Hello, I am Brianna. I was born in South Florida. I am 19 years old and in my third year of college. This video was heartbreaking to watch, especially since I ride a motorcycle, my life oftentimes does lie in other hands, alongside the loss of a close friend who passed away after getting hit by a car. We live in a time where people spend plenty, if not too much, time online, and there are many reasons for this, including the pandemic. So, a ban on driving while texting should be implemented, and I find it necessary with the short attention span that many people do have. However, I also find that punishing prison time would work more effectively because not many people would listen to the ban, no matter how much they should. Which is disappointing to say the least because no one should have their lives taken all because texting someone back is that important or anything on someone's phone. However, I can say that I am not fond of hands-free driving either. I don't think it should be hard to not answer any calls or texts while driving. Just as much as driving, life is a privilege. If you take one, you should serve one.
